Meaning of
"Bawa Ndege"

The name "Bawa" means "wings" in Swahili, the official language of Kenya.
And "Ndege" means "bird" in Swahili.

Through our work, we hope that people with disabilities will experience how God cares for them, protects them, and gives them new strength to "fly," symbolizing independence, autonomy and newfound freedom.

The logo consists of flying birds in a circle. It symbolizes new-found freedom and independence.
