Baba Pius – A New Step into Life

Baba Pius is 75 years old, married, and the father of ten children. Together with his wife, he cultivates a small piece of land where they grow maize – their only source of income. In 2023, Baba Pius developed a blister on his foot. What seemed harmless at first turned into a diabetic foot ulcer. In 2024, his condition worsened so much that his lower leg had to be amputated. His greatest wish was to be independently mobile again – with a prosthetic leg. Thanks to your generous support, we were able to make this wish come true.
